When everything has been taken away from you and all you have is family, you make the most of what you have left. IDPs in Iraq have struggled during the Corona virus pandemic meaning large NGOs have been unable to help with food, water and health care.
Now that daily life is slowly coming back to normal, money is coming in and a group of IDPs have managed to purchase a cow to feed 100 family's. Community is strong here and everyone looks out for eachother. The celebration of this sacrifice does not go to waist, everything is used to respect the life of the animal.
