Scott has been working in and out of Syria for the past 4 years, seeing the rebirth of the Northeast slowly revive itself from the extreme takeover of ISIS. Witnessing the Turkish offensive into Rojava, attacks on Idlib and the general day to day life of Syrian IDPs, trying to live a normal life in a heavily war-torn country. The unstable situation seems to have no end in sight. With every year resulting in more bloodshed and more displacement of civilians, Scott has witnessed first-hand the overflowing of IDPs in camps all over Syria and mass migration to find safety. Due to political instability, religious backgrounds, and political views, determines where many of the civilians end up, resulting in some cities and camps being overpopulated. Scott has captured all walks of life within Syria revealing happy and sad moments of an IDP.

Scott was on assignment with Partners Relief and Development when working in Syria.
